CATHEDRAL PARK

The area of the river nearest to Cathedral Park has entered the remedial design phase. PHCC and other community members are providing recommendations to EPA and getting educated about the sampling to determine a greater depth of information regarding the extent of contamination for this site and its cleanup. There will likely be a need for the cleanup of some toxic PCBs on the surface of Cathedral Park near the railroad tracks. PHCC is advocating for a thorough cleanup of this site, and engaging disproportionately impacted communities.
